Obituary for Linda Carol Collins Linda Carol Herzner Collins 70 of Winfield, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House of Charleston WV after a long struggle with COPD. She was born April 11, 1948 in Ohio and was a daughter of Edward Herzner and Viola James Herzner. Linda was a homemaker most of her life as she loved caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Linda was of the Christian faith having recently affirmed her faith in the Lord Jesus. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by four brothers, Gary Herzner, Philip “Moe” Herzner, Edward “Eddie” Herzner, Larry Herzner, and one sister, Lana Neville, and her wonderful spouse Bud Collins Jr. of 49 years.
Survivors include her three daughters, Tammy Miller and husband Dave of St. Albans and Paula Campbell and husband Joey of Belle, WV and Ashley Carpenter and husband Justin of Winfield; Four sons, Philip Herzner and wife Christina of Norwood, Ohio, and Edward Napier and husband Kyle of Covington, KY, and Dwayne Collins and wife Melanie of St. Albans, WV and Paul Collins and companion Tanya Sanders of St. Albans; and one sister Darlene Sheldon and husband Bobby of Mt. Orab, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends also survive. Funeral service will be 2pm Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield with Pastor Joey Campbell.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 1pm Monday, December 31, 2018 at Greenhills Memory Gardens, 11800 Governor George C.
