Obituary for Peggy Jean Grant Peggy Jean Wray-Grant, 66 of Hurricane left her Earthly home for her Heavenly home from the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV on Sunday, November 04, 2018 at 9:09a.m. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Earl Sr., and Emilee Wray; two sisters, Pamela and Rose Mary; and two brothers, Tom and Earl Edward Jr.; one infant grandson, Chase Jeffery; and one infant granddaughter, Ava Grace. She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ferguson of Hurricane, and Lori (Jeff) Covert of Red House, WV. Also, two grandsons, Andrew Conrad of Cross Lanes, WV and Chance Covert of Red House, WV.
Also surviving is five granddaughters, Brianna Rhodes of Nitro, WV, Savanna Rhodes of Madison, WV, Samantha (Dakota) Covert of Red House, WV and Whitney Covert of Red House, WV, Brooke Covert of Red House; also three-great grandsons, Levi Jayce, Eli Chase and Jake Hudson all of Red House, WV; one great-granddaughter, Aubriella Faye-Dawn of Nitro. Surviving siblings as well, Ronnie (Claudie) Wray of Teays Valley, Robert Wray of Tazwell, VA, Paulette (Ed) Grant of Hurricane, Nondra (Martin) Scharf of Hurricane, and Tammy Grant of Shelby, North Carolina; and longtime companion, Denver J. Grant of Hurricane; with a host of nieces and nephews left surviving. The family would like to express great thanks to the following: Dr. Rocco Morabito, Dr. Lea Grace Famulararcano, Oncologist Dr. Peter Mancusi-Ungaro of Teays Valley Cancer Center and Dr. Michael Robie and Dr. Popely and Dr. Kemmy, of St. Mary’s Medical Center Oncology.
Also, to special nurses on the 4th Floor Urology Dept. , Hazel and Doug, whom took the best care of her while on the floor, and all the Putnam County Paramedics especially Tina Skaggs and Frank Stover, who loved Grandma. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday November 9, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane.
