Patricia E. Meenachan, 81 Youngstown: Patricia E. Meenachan, 81, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Hospice House. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15th at Canfield Presbyterian Church, 140 W. Main Street, Canfield at noon with Reverend Larry Bowald officiating. Pat was born June 5, 1937 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Grahame and Virginia (Lundstrom) Bott and was a lifelong area resident.

In addition to working outside her home for over 50 years, she was actively involved in her community. She was a member of Canfield Presbyterian Church and the former John Knox Presbyterian Church in Youngstown, where she served on numerous committees and as a deacon and elder for many years. Pat also volunteered her time as a Help Hotline call taker and through Stephen Ministries at Park Vista on Belmont Avenue.

An active person, Pat enjoyed walking several miles a day at Wick Park well into her 70’s. She also bowled in leagues for many years, loved participating in local political campaigns, and in retirement, immensely enjoyed the camaraderie of her weekly bridge club. Pat is survived by four children, Brian T. (Kelly) Meenachan, Maureen (Ron) Luther, both of Boardman, Timothy Meenachan, Youngstown, and Gail A. (Rob) Kramer of Crofton, Maryland.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brennan and Brooke Meenachan, and Shane and Jacob Kramer, a brother, Ronald (Netta) Bott of Newport News, Virginia. Pat also leaves nieces and nephews, including her beloved, Raymond M. Bott, and his son, Nick, to cherish her memory. Besides her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Leo T. Meenachan, who died on August 21, 2003 and a brother, Norman Bott.

The family wishes to thank the outstanding doctors, nurses, and aides from the 7th floor of Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth’s Youngstown Hospital, with special thanks and gratitude to Brooke Bidinotto who cared for Pat in such a loving and compassionate manner. Family and friends may call on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a memorial service celebrating Pat’s life at noon. The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Canfield Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 140 W. Main Street, Canfield, Ohio 44406 in memory of Pat.
