LOUIS M. AMICARELLI, 73 A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:00 am. Saturday, October 27, 2018 in St. Columba Cathedral, for Louis M. Amicarelli, 73, of Boardman, who passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. Lou was born on February 9, 1945 in Youngstown a son of the late Luigi Amicarelli and Theresa Di Carlo.

He was a previous member of Sacred Heart Parish and served on the Parish council, he was also a Chairperson, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, belonged to the folk group and was active in the Youngstown Cursillo Movement. Lou served on the Diocesan Planning Committee, participated in the restructuring of Parish Councils, was an active Lay Minister and Leader of Prayer. Lou is survived by his sister Viola Mignella and brother Al (Pam) Amicarelli of North Port, FL.

He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews with whom he shared a special bond, the Setz’s, Kelly’s, Pelini’s, Amicarelli’s and Padach’s, and a host of great nieces and nephews in which he was very proud of all their accomplishments. Lou had many close friends that he also leaves behind, Pat and Ivy Ungar, Phil and Bev Goings and his special friend Debbie Kothheimer who he loved very much. Besides his parents, Lou was preceded in death by his sisters Angela and Geraldine Padach and a brother Anthony (Greek) Family and friends may call on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 9:00 am until 9:50 am at St. Columba Cathedral, 159 West Rayen Ave, Youngstown, Ohio 44503.

Dignified Arrangements are being handled by the Director’s at Conley VandenBerg Funeral Home.
