Patricia’s Obituary Patricia Lynne Monka, 69, of Arlington, IN, passed away Feb. 15th, 2019 Patricia was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 28, 1949, a daughter of the late Anita (Grimaldi) and Max Sumner. She went to Shortridge High School and graduated in 1967 and then studied in college.

She married Tom Monka March 19, 1971 and he survives. They raised two sons and enjoyed nearly 49 years together. She had an interest in many craft activities and spent her time as a homemaker.

She was a member of the former Hope in Christ Church. Survivors include her husband Tom Monka of Arlington; two sons, Vincent (Maggie) Monka of Shelbyville and Austin Monka of Arlington. Three grandchildren will also miss her.

She is also survived by four sisters, Sue (Walter) Guntharp of Pendleton, Barb Alstrum, Janet (Steve) Flewing and Virginia Elais all of Texas. Patricia will be cremated and her family will celebrate her life at a later date. Please sign her register book at www.
