Patricia Louise Seabaugh, 98, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, died on February 18, 2019 at Cape Town Senior Living facility. She was born June 20, 1920 in Los Angeles, California. Her parents were Ivan and Mildred Fisher.

They moved to Cape Girardeau in 1932, where she attended Franklin Elementary, Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University. Patricia taught at Lorimer School for two years, then Hickman High in Columbia, Missouri. She married William Seabaugh, also of Cape Girardeau in 1942.

She worked at KWK radio station in St. Louis while her husband completed his medical training. They moved to Cape Girardeau where Dr. Seabaugh took over his father’s medical practice. There they raised four children.

She was active in many activities, including Girl and Boy Scout troops, PTA, Centenary United Methodist Church and P.E.O. The family lived on Cape La Croix Farm where they raised horses. Eventually, they raced horses in California, Kentucky and Florida. After retirement, the Seabaughs moved to Chateau Girardeau Estates.

She is survived by her four children, Michael Seabaugh (Michael Morgan) of Santa Barbara, California, Christy Montgomery (Richard) of Sikeston, Jan Seabaugh (John Gallaher) of Columbia and William Seabaugh (Ann) of St. Louis; as well as six grandchildren, Henley Montgomery, Will Montgomery, Julianna Ford, Austin Critchlow, Kate Seabaugh and Taylor Seabaugh. She has been blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Nora and Mercer Montgomery; Tristan and Gabriel Montgomery; Engram, Fisher and Montgomery Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; and brother, George.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Long officiating.

A private burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. Memorial contributions may be given to Centenary United Methodist Church, Teen Challenge or Safe House for Women. Online condolences may be shared at www.
