Obituary for Patricia M. Morris Patricia McDavid Morris, 73, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away September 13, 2018. Mrs. Morris was born May 29, 1945 in Gainesville, FL, but had lived in the Jacksonville area for over 28 years after moving there from Pittsburgh, PA. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading and tending to her collection of plants and flowers.

She was a loving wife to Jim her best friend and spouse of 41 years, and a devoted mother to Amy and Jaimie. She is truly loved and missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband James “Jim” Morris, her daughters Amy Ceperley (Drew) of Hastings, NE and Jaimie Morris of St. Petersburg, FL, her mother Marguerite McDavid of Bronson, FL, her brother Rick McDavid of Pensacola, FL, her sisters Carolyn Holder of Bronson, FL, Mary Boals, of Hawthorne, FL, and Libby McDavid of Bronson, FL, her grandchildren Alex and Jay Ceperley, and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father Frank McDavid and her brother Steve McDavid. Funeral Services for Mrs. Morris will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Bronson in Bronson, FL, with Rev. Jeff Buchanan officiating.

Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery outside of Trenton, FL. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted, but memorial donation may be made to Community Hospice and Palliative Care in Jacksonville.
