Obituary for Trammel Gene “T.G.” Morris Trammel Gene “T.G.” Morris, 89, of Steinhatchee, Florida passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. Mr. Morris was born on April 14, 1929 in Oconee County, Georgia. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He retired from the United States Postal Service as a maintenance worker. He moved to Steinhatchee 8 years ago from Cumming, GA where he became the “Mayor of Kings Creek”. Mr. Morris was Protestant.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Becky Morris of Steinhatchee; son, Mike Morris (Terri) and daughter, Millie Morris; brother, Deweese Morris and sister, Margaret Daniels; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chapel in Cross City, FL with a visitation beginning an hour before the service at 2PM. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to either of following in T.G. Morris’ name: Big Bend Hospice, 1728 Mahan Center Blvd.
