Obituary of Paul Sheveily Paul Sheveily October 30, 1941 ~ November 7, 2018 Paul Sheveily,77, Jonesboro, passed away at St. Vincent in Indianapolis on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. A lifelong resident of Grant County, he was born in Marion on October 30, 1941 to the late Burr Otho and Helen (Barkdull) Sheveily. In 1981 he married Virginia Carol (Long) who preceded him in death in 2007.

Paul graduated from Marion High School and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He earned the rank of Specialist 4 and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. Paul was an expert rifleman and an M60 Marksman.

After over 35 years of working as an electrician, Paul retired from RCA. He really enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his son, Mike Sheveily; 6 step-children; granddaughter, Samantha Sheveily; several step-grandchildren; great-grandson, Rylee Fox; several step-grandchildren, 4 brothers, 1 sister, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Also preceding him in death was his step-daughter, Teresa Riley. Graveside services will take place at 2 PM on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Marion National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Services-Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, Indiana 46933.
