Obituary for Peggy Jean Johnson Peggy Johnson went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at age 84. She is survived by three children, Greg (Karen) Johnson, Jacky (Louise) Johnson, and Donna (Ray) Turner; six grandchildren, Derek (Amy) Johnson, Michele (Wes) Whaley, Michael (Linnzie) Hooks, Lori (Tony) Nix, Steven (Amber) Johnson, and Allison (David) Beck; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Bob (Lynn) Walker and one sister, Brenda Carter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Cecil Johnson; one infant son, Ricky Johnson; her parents; and five siblings.

Peggy retired from Carraway Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, December 7, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery.
