Obituary for Sharon Ann Phillips Roper Sharon Ann Phillips Roper, age 70, of Kimberly went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 4, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Luke Roper; daughter, Terri (Mark) Fortenbury; son, Kenneth Butler; step-daughter, Rita Horton; grandchildren, Heather (Derrick) O’Dell, Lacey (Heath) Edwards, Brittney Horton, Braxton (Ashley) Horton, and Tyler Fortenbury; five great grandchildren; sister, Peggy (Berd) Butler; brother, Larry (Shelby) Phillips; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Betty Phillips; sister, Connie Pilkington; and brother, Jerry Phillips.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be sent in her name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home.
