Mocksville, NC Peggy Jean Cable Peggy Jean Cable, 84, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday September 19, 2018. She was born March 13, 1934 in Rowan County, NC, a daughter of the late Shirley and Helen (Clawson) Mauldin. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Heller, sisters Barbara Ann Moore, Katie Owens, and Mildred Miller, a brother Shirley Mauldin Jr. Peggy attended Davie County Schools.

She was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her Loving husband Samuel “Buck” Cable, a son Gene Cable (Carol), daughters Debbie Rabon (Arthur) of Mocksville, Dale Allen (Tony) of Mocksville, sisters Judy Mauldin of Woodleaf, Martha Moore of Salisbury, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren. The family visitation will be held 3:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday September 23, 2018 at the Davie Funeral Home Chapel 416 Valley Road Mocksville, NC 27028.

A graveside service will be held 3:00pm Monday September 24, 2018 at the family cemetery located on Wolf Lane in Mocksville, NC 27028, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Lancaster.
