Obituary for Mr. Peter M. Connors Mr. Peter M. Connors, 56, of Pittsfield passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at home after a long illness. Born in Pittsfield on May 14, 1962 the son of John and Kathryn Byrne Connors, he was a graduate of Taconic High School. He attended Boston College and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from MCLA.

Peter worked most of his life in the Healthcare Industry. He worked for Berkshire Medical Center and then Sugar Hill Senior Living Community in Dalton. He later moved to the Capital Region in New York where he worked in Case Management for several Nursing Facilities.

Peter enjoyed playing sports, especially hockey and golf. He played in the Boys and Girls Club Men’s League for many years and was a member of Skyline Country Club. He also enjoyed Cycling and water skiing.

Peter also coached Youth Spots for many years positively influencing young players in many age groups. He loved boating and vacationing, especially at Cape Cod. Peter was most at home on the dance floor where he was a renowned dancer, loved music and socializing with friends.

Besides his mother, Kathryn, he is survived by his four boys, Patrick Connors, Michael Connors, Sean Connors and Colin Connors; a brother Sean Connors and his wife Debra and two sisters, Kathryn Hassett, her husband Jeffrey and their children Brian and Shea and Peter’s sister Sheila Connors. Funeral Notice: The immediate family will hold a private Service before burial, but A public Memorial Service for Mr. Peter M. Connors will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boys and Girls Club of the Berkshires, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 in his memory.
