Phyllis Louise Kolbas, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 18, 1932, in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Carl Reed Stover and Verna Katherine Cummings Stover. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Paul A. Kolbas; daughters, Bonnie Cantrell (Chris) and Cheryl Epton (Bill), all of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Annie Cherry (Jason) of Spartanburg, SC, Hayley Sater (Rob) of Bluffton, SC, Adam Cantrell (Beth) of Tarboro, NC, and Hank Epton (Corinne) of Lake Worth, FL; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, June Lischak (George), Ruth Uhalley, Alice Brakus (Art), and Nancy Reagan, all of Akron, OH. She was predeceased by brothers-in-law, John Uhalley and Bud Reagan. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Historic St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 161 N. Dean St., Spartanburg, SC 29302, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 AM, conducted by The Rev.

David R. Whitman. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd. , Spartanburg, SC 29307.
