Phyllis L. Boyarsky (Phyllis Boyer), 87, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Born in New York, New York on September 16, 1931, Phyllis settled in Delaware 58 years ago. She worked as an interior designer for more than 40 years.

An avid dancer, she enjoyed participating with senior center dance troops and was happiest when surrounded by her family. Phyllis was a spiritual person who generously helped anyone in need. Phyllis is survived by her children, Beth Ludlam and husband, Bill, Allen Boyarsky and wife, Nancy; her grandsons, Adam and Matt; her great granddaughter, Madelyn; her brother Fred Posniak and children, Sharon, Robert and Barbara.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Beatrice (Lowenthal) Posniak. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Wednesday, March 6 from 10:00-11:00AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM, followed by interment in Silverbrook Cemetery.
