Pierce William Rogers, our dear loving son and brother passed away suddenly on October 24, 2018 at the age of 21. He was born June 4, 1997 in Lansing, Michigan. He is survived by his parents, Jack and Angela (Rider) Rogers, sister Ariel Rogers, many friends and family.

Pierce was a graduate of Grand Ledge High School, Class of 2016 and worked as an industrial mechanic with his father in their family business, The Rogers Company. Pierce had a great love of music and was a talented player… Read More » of the guitar, drums, and horns. He enjoyed skateboarding, playing music for others, and played in the band, Stop Bobby Hatch.

Pierce just loved people and people loved him. His smile, compassion and kindness towards others will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Grand Ledge Baptist Church, 1120 Willow Hwy.

, with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Rex Foundation (created by “members of the Grateful Dead and Friends” in 1983 as a charitable non-profit organization to “proactively provide extensive community support to creative endeavors in the arts, sciences, and education”.
