Polly’s Obituary Polly Jane Smith Greer North, age 80 of Linefork, KY, departed this life on Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Tri-Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 28, 1938 in Linefork to Lem and Minnie Lewis Smith. Polly Jane spent her life as a homemaker for her family and enjoyed tending to her various types of flowers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Greer; and siblings, Bobby Smith, Mossie Lewis and Irene Cook. She will forever cherished by her daughters, Brenda Roark and husband, Nolan, of Linefork and Carolyn Greer Moore and husband, David, of Knoxville; brother, Harold Smith and wife, Jessie, of Nancy; sisters, Marie Lewis and husband, Walter, of London, Gladys Jones of Cumberland, Shirley McKnight of Cumberland, Lorraine Cole and husband, Paul, of Beecher, IL, and Mary Sue Ison and husband, Roger, of Totz; grandchildren, Billy, Gary and Tim Boggs; and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, between 5 – 8 pm in the Chapel of Tri City Funeral Home, 506 Holly Street, Benham, KY.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 11 am in the Chapel with Elder Glenn Cornett and Reverend Conard Profitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Day-Roark Cemetery in Kings Creek, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. You may leave online condolences for the family at www.
