OBITUARY Rachel Rose Turturro November 22, 1921 – July 13, 2018 Rachel Rose Mazzola Turturro, 96, of St. James, formerly of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida and Stamford, Connecticut passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at Ocean Trail Convalescent Center in Southport. Mrs. Turturro was born November 22, 1921 in Mt.

Kisco, New York, daughter of the late John Mazzola and Veronica Leona Marchiano Mazzola. Survivors include her children, Kathi and Peter Bovine of St. James, North Carolina, Nancy Robinson of Canajoharie, New York, and John Turturro of New York City; two brothers, Joe Mazzola and Frank and Dee Mazzola; one sister, Kay Gorman; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
