Raeburn’s Obituary Raeburn B. Meyer, age 87 of Rhinelander, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 17, 2019. The daughter of Blaine and Hazel Kleppe she was born in Rhinelander. She spent her formative years in Sayner and later moved to Manitowoc where her father found work at Mirro Corporation during the war years.

She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1949. Raeburn was the “Record Girl” at the SS Kresge Store in Manitowoc, playing records for customers wanting to hear them prior to purchasing. United in marriage to her husband LeRoy in 1952, she was a homemaker, loved tending to her flower garden and being outdoors.

Other interests included watching Packer games, traveling to the western U.S., pontoon rides on Shepard Lake, CNN News and current events and of course spending time with her family. Raeburn had an awesome sense of humor and we had a lot of laughs even in her last days. Survivors include her daughter; Debra and Gerry Jost of Newton, Wisconsin, son; Gary Meyer and Kay Dassey of Rhinelander, grandchildren; Abraham and Anna Jost of New Berlin, Jordan Jost of Seoul, South Korea, Tanya and Justin Terp of Manitowoc, great-grandchildren; Ethan and Isaac Jost, Alex, Mira and Connor Terp.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Hazel and Blaine Kleppe, husband; LeRoy Meyer in 2013 and a grandson; Nick in 2010. A private family service will be held with interment at Forest Home Cemetery. Thank you to the staff at Marshfield Medical Center and Rhinelander Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital.
