Rauh, 87, of Perryville, died surrounded by his loving family on December 28, 2018 at his residence in Perryville, MO. He was born March 30, 1931 in Perry County, MO son of Rudolph H. and Evelyn (Ochs) Rauh. He and Ruth A. Chappius were married on January 6, 1962.

She preceded him in death on May 21, 2018. Raymond had been a welder for local quarries. He had been a farmer and did custom combining for many years.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 133 and a US Army veteran of Korean Conflict. Survivors include one son and three daughters, Candy (Bob) Herzog of Perryville, Jeanne (Rick) Mattingly of St. Mary, Diane (Danny) Marler and Randy (Charlene) Rauh all of Perryville; three brothers and two sisters, Rudolph Rauh of Aurora, CO, Melvin Rauh of Reno, NV, Helen Lohmeier of Jackson, Janet (Linus) Manning of Perryville, Larry (Sue) Rauh of Cripple Creek, CO, 12 grandchildren, Chris (Susie) Herzog, Michelle Herzog, Curtis (Lacey) Mattingly, Katie (Cody) Weibrecht, Nicole (Thomas) Fritsche, Josh (Anna) Mattingly, Joey (Kelly) Marler, Anthony (Toshua) Marler, Tori (Scott) Sanders, Elaina Rauh, Ryan Rauh, Rodney Rauh; 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 1 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, January 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 am. He will then be taken to Immanuel Lutheran Church for services at 10:00 am with Rev. Matthew Marks officiating.

Burial in the Mt. Hope Cemetery with military graveside honors provided by American Legion Post 133 and Delta Team. Memorials are preferred to the Missouri Veterans Wall.
