Raymond Griffin Jr. December 19, 1939 – January 24, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Raymond Griffin, Jr., age 79 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Winn Parish Medical Center. He was born Tuesday, December 19, 1939 in Chopin, Louisiana and was retired from A&P Grocery store as Assistant Manager. Mr. Griffin was the son of the late Raymond Griffin Sr. and the late Vera Quimby Griffin.

He was also preceded in death by four siblings Vernon, Shirley, Audrey, and Jacqueline. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Griffin, his son Eddie Griffin(Trina) of Cypress Texas, daughter Anita Jones (Randy) of Weatherford, Tx. , and two grandsons Benjamin and Brian.

He also leaves to cherish his memory one sister Janet Tomlinson of Bradenton, Fl. as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Southern Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev.
