ReNae (Anderson) Sparks June 14, 1936- July 21, 2018 ReNae (Anderson) Sparks passed away July 21, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loved ones, from complications of pneumonia. ReNae was born in Roosevelt, UT, to LeRoy Dell Anderson and Lela (Hancock) Anderson on June 14, 1936. She was the oldest of 4, all being girls, and the best of friends.

ReNae married Jim Marlor in early 1950s. They had 3 daughters: Sharon (Marlor) Nielsen, Jill Marlor, who passed away at the age of two from cancer and eight years later she had Wendy (Marlor) Murphy. She was widowed in 1970.

ReNae met her soul mate the following year, Jim “James” Grant Sparks and they married June 4, 1971. They built their dream home in January of 1975 in Bountiful, Utah where they have lived a fulfilling life for the last 43 years. She especially enjoyed watching her grandkids and great grandkids growing up.

She was a collector of memories. “My family is my world, my reason for being” she stated a few days before her passing. She was a remarkable woman, a dedicated wife, and a loving mother and grandmother.

May her strength, determination, and love of life carry on through her legacy. She will surely be missed. ReNae is survived by her husband Jim Sparks; daughters, Sharon (Marlor) Nielsen and Wendy (Marlor) Murphy; 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by daughter Jill Marlor, parents Leroy and Lela Anderson and brother-in-law Carl Eyre. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday July 28th, 2018 at the Mueller Park 3rd Ward Chapel located at 1825 S. 850 E. Bountiful UT. There will not be a viewing prior to the service.
