Scott Phillips and Dr. Patrick Latham officiating. Prior to the memorial service private family burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends from 3-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Retha Alene Phillips, age 84, Lawton, died Sunday, December 30, 2018 in a Lawton care center. She was born March 16, 1934 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jesse Loren and Edith (Cheatham) Marshall.

She grew up in Shawnee and was a graduate of Shawnee High School. She later graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BS in business. She married Donald S. Phillips on April 7, 1955 in Shawnee.

Retha was primarily a homemaker. She worked while her children were young and after moving to Lawton in 1979 she worked as a realtor. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and quilting.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; three children and their spouses, Scott and Frances Phillips, Mustang, Oklahoma, Judith and Bryan Bridges, Elgin, Oklahoma and Stephen and Diane Phillips, Tallmadge, Ohio; six grandchildren and their spouses, Darcy and Jordan Jones, Mason and Courtney Phillips, Calyn and Trevor Johnson, Stacia Naquin Williams and Spencer, Talia Naquin and Kamra Phillips; and seven great grandchildren, Abigail, Morgan, Russell, Jaxon, Kai, Baylor and John. Her parents and two brothers, Wayne and Joe Marshall, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions for Falls Creek Scholarships may be made to First Baptist Church, 501 SW B Avenue, Lawton OK 73501.
