Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Dave Douglas Washburn, 64, Medicine Park, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Sigsbee Naval Air Station, Key West, Florida.

He was born August 18, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to Richard and JoAnn Washburn. During his military travels, he met and fell in love with his wife Nancy in Medicine Park, Oklahoma while stationed at Fort Sill. They were married October 14, 1975 and had 3 wonderful kids.

Dave served in the United States Army, the Army National Guard, the Army Reserves and was a Federal Civil Service employee. He was activated to Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf and was a highly decorated veteran. Dave was an easy going man, with nothing but happiness in his heart.

He loved his family and friends, and loved his wife dearly. He loved to travel and see the country with Nancy by RV, Harley, plane or just hiking or biking. They went to many interesting places and made wonderful lifelong friends along the way.

Dave is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy, son Joseph (Joe) Washburn, his wife Shelley and daughter Madeline, son Richard (Rich) Washburn, daughter, Diana Reed, her husband Nick and their daughters Piper, Abby and Tessa, his brother Mike Washburn and wife Maria and his sister Debbie Hykes.
