Joshua Francis Seavert, age 32, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Josh was born February 15, 1986, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Francis R. and Letha (Cash) Seavert.

He was a 2005 graduate of Lawton High School. Josh married Amber Hazlett on October 31, 2005, in Lawton. He joined the U.S. Army in November of 2005 and completed basic training at Fort Knox.

Josh served two tours of duty in Iraq and was discharged in September of 2012. Josh enjoyed the lake, music, building BMX bicycles, and fishing with his children. With his gentle spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many.

His hugs were the biggest and his extensive vocabulary was more than highly proficient at knowing more curse words than most. His beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of his wife, Amber Seavert; three children, Aliana Seavert, Joshua Seavert, Jr. and John Seavert, girlfriend; Michelle Jones with a baby on the way; his mother, Letha Seavert; sisters, Keesha Tarver, Kassie Wear, Krystal Copeland, Victoria Seavert, Davalyn Chase and Dawn Houseman; and a brother, Corey Seavert; his mother-in-law, Paulette Hazlett; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis R. Seavert and his father-in-law, John O. Hazlett.

A private family “Celebration of Life” will be held, after the service. Memorial contributions may be made on the gofundme for Josh at www. gofundme.com/for-our-beloved-brother-joshua.
