Mask (Stroud) Wilhite will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 in the First Baptist Church, Snyder with Rev. Nick Johnson, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home. Brenda C. Mask (Stroud) Wilhite, 74, Snyder entered rest on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in Snyder. She was born October 29, 1944 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Rollie Lee and Minnie Belle (Walden) Mask.

She was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Snyder High School in 1962. She married Jessie Wayne Stroud on November 2, 1962 in Snyder. They were married twenty-eight plus years until death parted them on July 1, 1991.

They were blessed with two children, Delisa Lynn and Brent Wayne. Brenda married Keith Wilhite on July 24, 1992 in Vernon, Texas. She gained a son, Brian Wilhite and two daughters, JoAnn O’Connor and Becky Young.

Brenda loved working with children and helping other people. She was very active throughout her life and worked various places. Some of which were Brenda’s Playschool, the Head Start Program and the Snyder Public Schools Cafeteria.

Brenda always had a giving heart, thought of others and always wanted to bring happiness by giving something to them. Brenda loved watching basketball and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her newest great-granddaughter Emma Lynn Anderson.

Brenda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Snyder. Survivors include her husband Keith of the home, daughter Delisa and husband Gary of Snyder, son Brent and wife Jennifer of Ada, Oklahoma, daughter JoAnn O’Connor and husband David of Tipton, son Brian and wife Sheila of Snyder, and daughter Becky Young of Snyder. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Dena, Tanner, Cara, Bryce, Paige, Justin, Veronica, Shelby, Tina, Taylor, Casey, Jared, Alisha and Danny.

Fifteen great-grandchildren with three more on the way, her sister-in-laws, Clitha Stroud, Teresa Mills, Lillie Jenkins, all of Hobart, Charlena Mask of Mountain Park, Denise Richardson and husband Paul of Duncan and numerous other nieces, nephews and a great host of special friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Jessie and a brother Billy Howard Mask. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairlawn Cemetery Association, PO Box 185, Snyder, OK 73566.
