Doug Passmore, Pastor of First Baptist East officiating. Linda Darlene Wright, 71, of Lawton, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at her home in Lawton.

She was born October 28, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas to Troy Parsons and Elvis (Derrin) Crosley. She married Carl Dean Wentz in the spring of 1966. He passed away on April 9, 1974.

On June 2, 1978, Linda married Ronnie Wright. Linda was a loving wife mother and grandmother who loved to serve others and was always concerned about everyone’s well being. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a faith and family person and coined one of her favorite phrases, “Faith Alone and Christ Alone”. She was very family oriented and cherished her time with them especially around the holidays mainly Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter. Linda loved to cook, sew when she was younger, and gardening.

She always watched the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners and you did not bother her while that was going on. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of the home, a son, Chris Wentz and wife Stacy of Lawton, five grandchildren, Tyler Wentz, Micahala Wentz, Willie Young, Alex Young and Hayley Young, two great grandchildren, Kylynn Wentz and Cooper Wentz, one brother, Darrell Crosley of Maple Valley, Washington, two sisters, Debbie Crosley and Sharon Crosley both of Amarillo, Texas, daughter-in-law, Michelle Esposito of Palm Beach, Florida, former mother-in-law, Mary Wentz and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Carl Dean Wentz and son, Charlie Wentz. Memorial contributions may be made to the R.B. Thieme, Jr. Bible Ministries of Houston, Texas at www. rethieme.org.
