Dorothy Virginia Hillard August 26, 1923 – March 18, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Graveside service for Dorothy Virginia Hillard will be at 11:00 am Thursday, March 21, 2019 in the Nocona Cemetery, Nocona, Texas with Austin Wright, Minister of the Church of Christ, Nocona, Texas officiating. Burial will be held under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder. The family will greet friends Wednesday evening, March 20, 2019 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at the funeral home in Snyder.

Dorothy Virginia Hillard, 95, Mountain Park, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 in a Lawton nursing home. She was born August 26, 1923 in Spanish Fort, Texas to Jew and Mamie Gertrude (Rolls) Spivey. She married Troy Cleveland Hillard on January 16, 1946 in Montague County, Texas.

He passed away August 22, 1959. She retired from Civil Service then went to work for K-Mart for 10 years before finally retiring and moving to Snyder. She was very active in and loved her church.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, going to Oklahoma Sooner games, sewing and cross stitch. Survivors include her 5 children; Jimmie Dale Hillard of Altus, Oklahoma, Troy Wayne Hillard and wife Angie of Amarillo, Texas, Kay Langford of Altus, Oklahoma, Fay Brown and husband Wayne of Mountain Park, Oklahoma and Vickie Sue Lovett of Joshua, Texas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 twin infant sons; Johnny Ray and Bobby Earl, 2 infant grandchildren, John C. Hillard and Shelly R. Hillard and her great granddaughter Sydney Cheyenne Swaner.
