Bruce will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Letitia Baptist Church, east of Lawton, with Rev. Matt Kelly, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Letitia Cemetery, east of Lawton, under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Janice S. Bruce, 76, Lawton passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 16, 2019. She was born January 23, 1943 at Fort Sill to Sam and Margaret (Harding) McGee. She graduated from Central High School in 1961.

Janice later married Jerry M. Bruce on May 20, 1961 east of Lawton. Jerry passed away March 24, 2010. Janice was a homemaker and loved helping her husband with the family businesses.

She was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an active member of her church and loved her church family. She enjoyed quilting and loved her flowers.

Survivors include her son Troy Bruce of Lawton, a daughter, Christie and husband Tommy Tugmon of Lawton, three grandchildren, Nicole Ellis and husband Levi of Mustang, Tyler Tugmon and Taylor Tugmon both of Lawton, and two great grandchildren, Jackson Ellis and Lincoln Ellis of Mustang. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Ronnie McGee. Memorial contributions may be made to Letitia Baptist Church, 2605 S State Highway 65, Lawton, OK 73501.
