Robert Rose, Jr., Pastor officiating. A closed reception will follow.

Kevin will be placed in the columbarium at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pennsylvania at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. On February 14, 2019 Kevin Joseph “The Eagle” Hipple, 57, Lawton, flew home to be with our Lord and Savior.

Kevin was born on February 26, 1961 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Joan F. (Doan) Hipple. After an honorable discharge from his beloved Army career he made Lawton his permanent home and began his second career as a DJ working with his friends to establish karaoke in this area. His love of music and the personal fulfillment of being the center of attention made his position behind the microphone an ideal choice.

His heart was big, if someone had a need he wouldn’t hesitate to fill it. His laughter was contagious, even when the jokes were in poor taste, and he was one of the most charismatic people you would ever meet. He had a fierce love for his wife and children, including the furry ones, fishing, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

He leaves behind his wife of the home, Paula Hipple, children Christopher, Heather, Kayla, Erin, Megan, and step children Savannah and Arianna. In addition to his wife and children he leaves five siblings, Joan, MaryEllen, Mark, Michelle, Stephanie and a sea of friends and family who will always cherish the goofy energy that he carried into every room. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Thomas and Joan Hipple as well as his siblings Fredrick, Bryan, Helene, and Judith.
