David Hubbard, Associate Pastor of Lawton First Assembly officiating. Richard Smith, 68, Lawton passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his home in Lawton.

He was born August 13, 1950 in West Point, New York to Floyd and Georgia (Haxton) Smith. Richard served with the US Army during the Vietnam War, with a tour in Korea. Survivors include his children; daughter Tracy Anderson, son Richard and wife Jennifer both of the home, daughter Zinda Smith of Oklahoma City, his wife Cheryl of Midwest City, Oklahoma, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his sisters; Lois and husband Michael Dodson of Lawton, Ruth and husband Bill Miller of Missouri and his brothers; Floyd Smith and wife Kathy of Missouri, Robert Smith and wife Sonja of New York, Kenneth Smith of Lawton and John Smith of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his 2 previous wives, Pamela Anderson and Zinda Smith, his sister Christina Smith, Brother William Smith and a grandson Brandon Taylor.
