OBITUARY Rev. Joseph Tyrone Guillory August 18, 1958 – September 28, 2018 Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us”. Pastor Joseph Tyrone Guillory, 60, passed away September 28, 2018.

He was born in Lafayette and lived in Lake Charles. He retired from PPG. He was a member and Pastor of Spirit of Life Truth Tabernacle and a devout Christian who spent most of his life serving his Lord and Savior Jesus.

He is survived by his brothers, Samson Guillory of Lake Charles, Peter Guillory of Moss Bluff and Darby Guillory of Lake Charles. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years, Mary Guillory, parents, Martellus and Gertie Pappillion Guillory. Services will be Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00am at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.

Rev. Mike Honore will officiate. Visitation will begin Saturday at 8:00am until time of service.

Burial will follow at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www. hixsonfuneralhomes.com FAMILY He is survived by his brothers, Samson Guillory of Lake Charles, Peter Guillory of Moss Bluff and Darby Guillory of Lake Charles.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years, Mary Guillory, parents, Martellus and Gertie Pappillion Guillory.
