OBITUARY Melva Jean Hefler October 29, 1931 – October 31, 2018 Melva Jean Hefler, 87, passed away Wednesday October 31, 2018 in Sun City, Arizona. She was born October 29, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK. She married Roy Lee Hefler and enjoyed over 50 years of marital bliss as a homemaker.

She will best be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her hobbies included playing the organ for her local church, and upon Roy’s retirement she enjoyed the wonderful climate and friends in Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev.

John J. Evans and mother Clara Turner Evans husband, Roy Lee Hefler ; brother, Robert L. Evans, and one grandson Kyle Hefler. Those left to cherish her memory are three sons; Johnnie Lee Hefler (Vickey) of California, Randy Leon Hefler of Arizona, Sheldon Lynn Hefler (Noelle) of Westlake; three grandsons Casey, Corey and Morgan Hefler; and one granddaughter, Jordan Hefler. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kyle Hefler Memorial Scholarship Fund at the California Baptist University.
