Rev. Terry Lee Leckrone, 71 of York, PA, died at his residence on February 12, 2019. Born June 17, 1947 in York, PA, he was the son of the late Richard Leckrone and the late Catharine (Leibhart) Munchel.

Pastor Leckrone spent his formative years attending Trinity United Methodist Church in York. Following his 1965 graduation from York High, he received a Bachelor of Arts from Messiah College in 1969, a Master of Arts in Religion in 1972 and a Master of Divinity in 1975 from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Leckrone was an ordained minister of the United Methodist Church having served in the following churches: Jerseytown United Methodist Church, Eyers Grove United Methodist Church, Pine Summit United Methodist Church, Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church (New Cumberland), Christ United Methodist Church (Harrisburg), The Shared Ministry (Harrisburg), Messiah United Methodist Church (Shippensburg) and Emanuel United Methodist Church (Loganville).

He also worked at the United Methodist Foundation of Baltimore and several other non-profits in planned giving. Pastor Leckrone is survived by his son, J. Wesley Leckrone, his daughter-in-law, Jodi Leckrone and his granddaughters, Alexa Catharine Leckrone and Abigail Leckrone, all of Wyndmoor, PA. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Fourth United Methodist Church, 1067 East Market Street, York, PA with the Rev.

Jane A. Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Monday at the church.
