Family and friends will gather from 4-8pm in Schiavone Funeral Home on Fri. Jan. 25, 2018 to celebrate the life of Reynold J. DePaul, 75 who passed away Sunday in St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus.

“Sonny” was born Dec. 11, 1943 in Youngstown, to his parents Raynold A. and Eva R. Zupp DePaul. He was a 1963 Chaney High School graduate and served in the US Army moving up the ranks from Private to MP before ending his military career in the Reserves.

Sonny was a police officer for the Youngstown Police Department and more recently was a painter for Youngstown Metropolitan Housing. He enjoyed working out and will be forever missed by his daughter, Debbie DePaul; son, Antonio “AJ” DePaul; sister, JoAnn Fitzgibbon; and Shannon’s pup, Molly. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carolyn R. DePaul; and daughter, Shannon E. Graves.
