Obituary for Rhyne Bost Mr. William Rhyne Bost passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House. A memorial service will be 7 PM Tuesday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Beverly Mauldin.

Family and friends will gather at 6 PM to remember Rhyne. Rhyne was born January 27, 1954. His parents were the late Billy Rhyne Bost and Dorothea Cloninger Bost.

He graduated from Concord High School Class of 1973. While at Concord, he played football and later returned there to coach the sport he loved. Rhyne served as a City of Kannapolis Police Officer and was a member of the Jackson Park Volunteer Fire Department.

As a lifelong resident of Cabarrus County, Rhyne has touched many people with his love for life and always made the time to create memorable experiences with his many friends and acquaintances. His love for music since his days in the Concord High School chorus is evidenced by his travels working shows and being a part of live music across the Carolinas. Rhyne is survived by his sister, Caroline B. Wellman and husband Kevin; a number of cousins; and by a host of special friends.
