Richard A. “Dick” Pieper, 83, of Bonneauville, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Friday, May 11, 2017 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born October 19, 1934 in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Henry O. and Louise M. (Martone) Pieper. Dick was the loving husband of Mary R. (Hobbs) Pieper with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.

Mr. Pieper was a 1951 graduate of Sewanaka High School, Floral Park, NY and a graduate of the RCA Institute. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. Dick was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Bonneauville, PA.

He was an electrical Engineer with Westinghouse for 36 years until his retirement. Mr. Pieper enjoyed fishing, hunting camp, his dogs, jelly beans and listening to the Orioles games on the radio. In addition to his loving wife, Mary, Dick is survived by his children, Richard A. Pieper of York, PA, Kathleen A. Post and husband Paul Killeen of McSherrystown, PA, Laurie A. Weger and husband Michael of Lafayette, IN, and Michael H. Pieper and wife Donna of new Oxford, PA, 6 grandchildren, Nathaniel Post and wife Samantha, Kendal Weger, Troy Weger, Cody Pieper, Joseph Post and Colton Pieper, and two brothers, George Pieper and Kenneth Pieper of Chambersburg, PA.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Pieper of New Hyde Park, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:15 AM, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, 12 E. Hanover Street, Bonneauville, PA. A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 66 East Hanover Street, Bonneauville, PA.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memories and condolences may be shared at www. kenworthyfh.com.
