Charlotte Wareheim Warner, 103, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Lineboro, MD, entered peacefully into God’s care June 15, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Walton E. Warner, to whom she was married for forty-eight years. Born September 15, 1914 in Lineboro, MD, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Carroll G. and Minnie (Wentz) Wareheim.

Charlotte was a member of Lazarus Lutheran Church in Lineboro, MD. She attended Garrison Forest School in Baltimore, MD and graduated from Eichelberger High School in 1933 where she was the center on the girls’ basketball team. She was an active member of the Friendship Club, an organization for women whose husbands were serving in World War II, for many years.

She was also a member of the Hanover Country Club. Charlotte was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who focused on caring for her family throughout her entire life. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, watching Georgetown basketball, eating chocolate, and driving her car.

She is survived by a son Jeffrey W. Warner, daughter-in-law Amy L. Warner and granddaughter Victoria Rose Warner of Hanover, with whom she lived for the past seventeen years. Surviving also are a daughter, Edwina W. Tripp of Baltimore, MD, granddaughters Wendy T. Ruffin of Lutherville Timonium, MD and Ashley B. Tripp of New York, NY, and great granddaughter Brooke Ruffin of Lutherville Timonium, MD. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 at Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover followed by a service at 8 p.m. with Rev.

Msgr. James M. Lyons officiating. Burial will be at Lazarus Cemetery in Lineboro, MD at the convenience of the family.
