Ann M. Sterner, 71, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. Born February 9, 1947 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Myrtus J. and Pearl H. (Schuman) Sterner. Ann was graduate of Dover High School.

She retired from the Liquor Control Board in Harrisburg, having worked as an administrative assistant for 38 years. Ms. Sterner was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in East Berlin, where she enjoyed serving as a Sunday school teacher and Sunday collection counter. She volunteered at the East Berlin Community Center.

Ann enjoyed gardening, and always helping other people whenever she could. Surviving are a sister, Sally J. Leas and husband Leon C. of East Berlin, PA; and a nephew, Chad M. Leas and wife Stephanie of Myerstown, PA. A funeral service to celebrate and remember Ann will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev.

Dr. Aaron Smith officiating. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 25, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
