Nadine E. Tracy, 91, of Hanover, PA, entered peacefully into God’s eternal care Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover, PA. Born September 25, 1926 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Mabel E. (Werner) Tracy. Nadine graduated from Eichelberger High School in 1945; and earned a B.S. in Education from Bloomsburg University in 1949.

She taught secondary education at the Spring Grove High School, retiring after twenty-nine years of service. Nadine is survived by a brother, John E. Tracy of Orlando, FL; nieces, Louise Jira of Frederick MD, Jeanne Hull of Walkersville, MD, Becky Price of Keymar, MD, and Marilyn Nelson of Winter Park, FL; a nephew, John C. Tracy of Orlando, FL; ten great nieces and nephews; sixteen great great nieces and nephews; and one great great great nephew. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary (Mrs. Philip) T. Moul and Frances E. Tracy; and a niece, Patsy Bortner.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Nadine’s life will be held 11 AM, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Homewood at Plum Creek Chapel, 425 Westminster Avenue, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Joel Hummel officiating. Burial will be in St. David’s Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.

A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the chapel. The family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.
