Ruth Helen Willheim, 94, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Brethren Home at Cross Keys Village, New Oxford, PA. Born September 12, 1923 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Holman) Mamock. Ruth was the loving wife of Frank R. Willheim, Sr to whom she was wed on January 4, 1944 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Baltimore, MD.

They shared 74 years of marriage. Ruth was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA, where she was a former council member. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a former board member and past president of the Visiting Nurse Association of Hanover & Spring Grove.

Mrs. Willheim and her husband Frank were the former owners and operators of Cremer Florist and Greenhouses. Ruth was the manager of the retail division for numerous years until her retirement. In addition to her husband, Frank, Ruth is survived by two children, Frank R. Willheim Jr. and wife Christine, Gail H. Merlo and husband Michael; five granddaughters; 14 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Ruth’s life will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at St. mark Lutheran Church, 129 Charles Street, Hanover, PA, with her Pastor the Rev. Kirk A. Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.

A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the church. The Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA has been entrusted by the family with the funeral arrangements. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.
