Joseph Lester Tressler, 80, of Littlestown, PA, entered God’s Eternal care, Friday, June 15, 2018 at Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Center. Born March 23, 1938, in Emmitsburg, MD, he was the son of the late John and Anna C. (Black) Tressler. He was the loving husband of Sally A. (Manning) Tressler with whom he shared 23 years of marriage, and the late Shirley Manahan Tressler.

Joseph retired from Stambaugh, Inc., with twenty-five years of service as a heavy equipment operator. Joseph enjoyed woodworking and puzzles. In addition to his loving wife Sally, Joseph is survived by his children, Teresa K. Henry and husband Frank, and Joseph L. Tressler, Jr. and wife Marsha; step-daughter, Suzanne F. Barnhart; grandchildren, Kristen Henry Metric and husband Michael, Frank Henry, Melissa Tressler Hummel and husband Patrick, and Samantha Tressler King and husband Dakota; step-granddaughter, Brittany Yingling; and great grandchildren, Michael Metric, Christina Metric, Chloe Metric, Brooke Hummel, Jackson Hummel, and Ezra Lee King; and one sister, Lula Tressler Turner.

He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. Following Cremation services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s memory to the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, 1500 Paxton St #101, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
