Obituary for Richard M. “Dick” Rivette Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018. Age 71 years. Son of the late Clarence and Lorraine (Summerfield) Rivette, Richard was born February 20, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan.

He was married to LouAnn Jarema on October 26, 1968. She survives him. Dick was a tool and die maker for GM / Delphi retiring after 35 years of service.

He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and Zilwaukee Fire Department. Dick enjoyed QFT, fishing, camping, playing Euchre and was a jack of all trades. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife LouAnn; two sons and three daughters, Scott and Carrie Rivette, Matthew Rivette and his significant other Dawn Espitia, Amanda and Patrick Grant, Melanie and Anthony McDonald, Andrea and Logan Meyers; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Carter, Ty, Carson, Ethan, Summer, Olivia, Audrey and an angel on the way; his brother, Frank and MaryJane Rivette; sisters-in-law, Beverly Rivette and Beulah Collison; many nieces, nephews and special friends.

Richard was preceded in death by two grandchildren, his brother Clarence Rivette Jr. and his sister and brother-in-law Lozamae and Jim Collison. Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at St. John Paul II Parish, St. Matthew Catholic Church, 511 W. Cornell St., Zilwaukee. Rev.

Fr. William Taylor will officiate. Burial will take place in Mt.

Olivet Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. The fire department will have a walk thru at 7:00 p.m. Monday followed by a Vigil Service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to The Gift of Life Transplant House, Rochester, Minnesota or a donation for a bench to be placed at Burt Lake State Park in Indian River, Michigan.
