Obituary for Dale Hasse Beloved husband and father passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 21, 2018. Age 61 years. The son of Edwin Hasse and the late Shirley (Hasse) Steenhagen, Dale was born on March 11, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan.

He married Diane Quinnan on August 1, 1980. She survives him. He served in the United States Navy.

Dale was employed at Nexteer Automotive. He loved to salmon fish on Lake Michigan, go camping and deer hunt. Dale will always be remembered as an admired family man, being very meticulous and always the first to help someone in need.

Surviving besides his wife Diane are one son and two daughters, Brad (Megan) Hasse, Freeland; Michelle Gohsman and her fiance, Scott Atwater, Standish; Kristina Hasse, Saginaw; six grandchildren, Grace, Cayden, Kyleigh, Mason, Garrett and Declan; his father Edwin Hasse and his wife Kathleen, Saginaw; step-father, Don Steenhagen, Midland; three sisters and one brother, Darlene Fuller, Saginaw; Diane (Brendan) Crane, Saginaw; Donald Hasse, Saginaw; Julia (Casey) Fiting, Saginaw; three step-sibilings, Donald Prezatto, Saginaw; Anthony Prezatto, Las Vegas, Nevada; Wendy Haenlein, Saginaw; many nieces and nephews who loved him very much. Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley (Hasse) Steenhagen on December 24, 2011 and his brother, David Hasse on January 9, 2014. Honoring Mr. Hasse’s wishes cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , (between Shattuck and McCarty). Chaplain Doug Bassett will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan.
