Richard Reed a lifelong resident of McIntosh, AL was born January 21, 1962 to the union of the late Mr. Robert and Mrs. Mary Lee Reed of McIntosh, AL. Richard departed this life on Sunday, April 29, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and elder brother, Johnnie Lee Reed.

Richard was a graduate of McIntosh High School Class of 1980. He was employed with Searcy Hospital for a number of years. Richard leaves to cherish his memory three sister: Luretha Reed, Flora Reed and Geneva Reed all of McIntosh, AL.

, five brothers:Robert Reed of McIntosh, AL. Minister Frank (Annie) Reed, Mount Vernon, AL. , Arthur (Freda) Reed of Florence, AL.

,Vernon (Cynthia) Reed of Oklahoma City, OK. , William (Nichelle) Reed of Creola, AL. with a host of nieces and nephews, two devoted nieces Anjanette James and Cadedra Reed, four devoted friends, Byron (Cat) Bell, Caffey Olds, Danny Adams and Thaddeus Caster, other relatives and friends.

Service will be held on Saturday May 5 with viewing at 9 until 11 a.m. Funeral hour at the church of God Deliverance 1615 Palton Rd. McIntosh, AL. with Bishop Willie D. Roberts pastor and officiating minister.

Interment will follow in Vaughn Cemetery in McIntosh. Final life celebration entrusted to Jackson Memorial Funeral, 203 East Ross St., Jackson, AL 36545. Condolences may be left for the family at www.
