Richard’s Obituary Richard S. Britt, of Quakertown and formerly of Bedminster and Schwenksville, PA, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at his home. He was 67. He was the husband of Debra A. (Shouey) Britt.

The couple had celebrated their 9th Wedding Anniversary on October 3, 2018. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of Elsie M. (Stover) Britt, of Bedminster Twp. , PA, and the late Robert C. Britt.

He was a 1970 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA. A truck driver, Richard had been employed by Hatfield Quality Meats, Hatfield, PA, from 1983 until retiring two weeks prior to his passing. Previously, he worked for Geiger Brothers, Schwenksville, PA, Thomas & Betts, Montgomeryville, PA, and Delbar Products, Perkasie and Telford, PA.

He attended Christ Covenant Church, Harleysville, PA, and he was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church, Telford, and Deep Run Mennonite Church West, Perkasie. A car enthusiast, Richard especially enjoyed attending car shows. He was an avid hunter and was fond of tending to his koi pond.

He also loved traveling and exploring local areas with his wife Debbie, particularly Lancaster County. Surviving with his wife are three children, Keith R. Britt and his wife Dana, of Telford, Kyle C. Britt, of Schwenksville, and Jonathan D. Britt and his companion Jennifer Leister, of Perkasie; two step children, Zachary Hudy and his wife Rebecca, of Gilbertsville, PA, and Kristen Cox and her husband Matthew, of Lock Haven, PA; four grandchildren, Collin, Meghan, Parker and Ian, and a soon-to-be-born granddaughter; five step grandchildren, Parker, Oliver, Orion, Clarice and Evelyn; two brothers, Robert K. Britt and his wife Barbara, of Harrington, DE, and J. Larry Britt and his wife Randy, of Bedminster, PA; and three sisters, Diane Brubaker and her husband John, of Greenwood, DE, Donna Kulp and her husband James, of Quakertown, and Carol Schilling and her husband Michael, of Quakertown. His Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, February 18, 2019, at Deep Run Mennonite Church West, 1008 Deep Run Road, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Interment will follow in the Deep Run Mennonite Church West Cemetery, Perkasie. Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie.
