William K.’s Obituary William Kent “Bill” Warden, Sr, of Sellersville, PA, passed away suddenly at his home, on Friday, March 29, 2019. He was 77. He was the husband of Marsha Marie (Ashby) Warden.

The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on August 29, 2018. Born in Perkasie, PA, he was the son of the late William L. Warden and Jeanette Mae (Moyer) Ciarlo. Bill was an oil delivery driver for H.L. Garges, Telford, PA for many years, retiring in 2005.

Prior to that, he served as a sergeant with the West Rockhill Township Police Department and before that the Sellersville Borough Police Department. He started his working career at Emico in Perkasie. Always active and on the go, Bill assisted his father taking care of Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, St. Stephen’s U.C.C. Cemetery, both in Perkasie and Hillside Cemetery in Souderton.

He also drove the Faith Baptist Church Bus on Sunday mornings for the church. A sports enthusiast, he loved watching his sons and grandchildren play sports throughout the years. He was a Philadelphia sports fan and an auto racing fan, both NASCAR and the local tracks.

His favorite local driver was the 81 car of George Wambold. Surviving with his wife are three sons, William K. Warden, Jr., of Sellersville, PA, Daniel Lee Warden and his companion, Treena Ann, of Sellersville, PA and Michael Scot Warden and his wife Cynthia, of Quakertown, PA; four grandchildren, Gregory Warden and his wife Christine, Cody Allen Warden, Nicole Wilfong and David Wilfong; two great grandchildren, Madison, Makenzie; a brother, G. Lee Warden and his wife Sara, of South Carolina and two sisters, Joan Marie Heffner and her husband Richard, of Hershey, PA and Virginia D’Pasquale, of Fullerton, CA. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Colleen H. Warden in 2004.

His funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd.
