Ernestine’s Obituary Ernestine D. Rogers 76, of Telford, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp. She was the wife of the late Robert Rogers, who died in 1999. Born in Sellersville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Dorn) Yerk.

She was employed as a sewing machine operator for the former Royal Pants Factory, Perkasie, and the former Peerless Footwear Company. She also worked as a bartender at the Bier Garten in Telford. Mrs. Rogers enjoyed spending time with her family, with frequent trips to their homes for picnics and swimming.

She was extremely devoted to her beloved dog, “Punky”. She is survived by her daughters: Rita Stoneback, of Telford, and Donna Jasinski and her husband Dale, of North Wales, her sons: Tom and his wife Sunday, of Sellersville, Bobby, and his wife Pat of Quakertown, and John “Booie” of Telford, 11 grandchildren: Tom, Jerry, Justin, Rebecca, Jake, Jenna, Roxanne, Shane, Tara, Logan, Alissa, 4 great grandchildren: Jessica, Marissa, Haley, Jason, and 1 great great grandson, Maverick. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son, William Larry Rogers, and a son-in-law, James Stoneback.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11 AM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 North Main St., Telford, PA 18969. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service. Interment is private at the convenience of the family in the Christ Reformed Cemetery at Indian Creek.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Bucks County SPCA, 60 Reservoir Rd. , Quakertown, PA 18951.
