Obituary for Richard W, Badders Richard W. Badders, 70, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. He was born on July 17, 1948 in York, PA, son of the late Richard and Ruth (Ream) Badders. He was a 1966 graduate of York Suburban High School.

Dick worked at Caterpillar Tractor Company for 27 years. After retiring, he worked for the Physician’s Supply Company. Dick was a member of the NRA, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

He also enjoyed woodworking, gardening and art. He was the husband of Rosemary (Pasquale) Badders. The couple celebrated 48 years of marriage on May 9, 2018.

Dick leaves behind his daughters, Jennifer (Badders) Wood and her husband, Joseph Wood and Amy (Badders) Kitner and her husband, Jasyn Kitner; 5 grandchildren, Joseph Wood, Jr., Justin Wood, Jeffrey Wood, Konner Kitner, and Isabella Kitner; sister, Becky Shellenberger; and nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Badders. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 1907 Hollywood Drive, York with Pastor Laura Haupt officiating.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Izaak Walton League of America York Chapter #67, 7133 Iron Stone Hill Rd, Dallastown, PA 17313.
