Obituary for Rickey Joseph Sanchez Sr. Rickey Joseph Sanchez Sr., passed away peacefully on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the age of 65 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Joseph Sanchez and his mother, Mabel Teresa Hebert; his brother, Gerald Sanchez. He is the beloved husband of 47 years of Lisa Bruney Sanchez.

He is the loving father of Rickey Sanchez Jr. (Amie) and Bryan Sanchez. He is the devoted grandfather of Hailey Sanchez, Bryan Sanchez Jr., Shelby Sanchez, Helaina Sanchez, Rickey Sanchez III, and Talan Sanchez. He is the loving great grandfather of Ahleena Burrell and Bryan Sanchez III.

He is the loving brother of Robert Sanchez (Mary Jane), Gloria Ussery (Donnie), and Linda Ray. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Rickey was a US Army Veteran.

An avid golfer and pool player, he was a loving husband and very devoted father to his children and grandfather to his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 beginning at 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA.
